Gastrointestinal conditions necessitate pharmacological treatment, which is divided into two categories: pharmaceutical and counter-drugs/OTC drugs. Probiotics are not currently being tracked, and only a few randomised controlled trials have been conducted to assess their efficacy in various gastro disorders.
