Eurogastro 2019 is a leading platform for a focused agenda of the current research in the field of gastroenterology which includes, guest lectures, keynotes, symposiums, workshops, exhibitions, panel discussions and poster sessions. We invite Gastroenterologists, Hepatologists, and General Physicians, Oncologists, Surgeons, Researchers, Students, and Business delegates to join us at Paris in October 07-08 | 2019 for the 2-day power packed Gastroenterologists Meet.

Gastroenterology has emerged from the backwoods of medical specialties only over the past 20 years. It is Because of massive improvement in the field of diagnosis and treatment. Gastroenterology has undergone binary fission into hepatology and “hollow organ” gastroenterology. Innovations in colorectal cancer screening, capsule endoscopy, cures for hepatitis C and new biologic therapies are some of the recent advances in gastroenterology.

Gastroenterology is concerned with diagnosing and treating conditions which affect the digestive tract. Procedures for diagnosis and testing may include invasive techniques and surgery, but can also greatly rely upon imaging in order to determine the cause of the issue. Problems with digestion and nutrient absorption can be mechanical or function based.  This means that issues in one part of the digestive tract can be affecting overall health, but it also means that specific organ dysfunction or chronic illness may be impacting the symptoms that are expressed.

Palliative care is an interdisciplinary approach to specialized medical and nursing care for people with life-limiting illnesses. It focuses on providing relief from the symptoms, pain, physical stress, and mental stress at any stage of illness. Palliative care approach focuses on improving the quality of life for a patient and often involves symptom management and communication about the disease process and overall goals of care. Concurrent Palliative care may benefit patients with many advanced medical conditions, such as end-stage liver disease (ESLD).

Medical disorders that affect this area of the body may be called “colorectal” or “intestinal” disorders. Colorectal conditions range from common and often treatable problems such as chronic constipation, to rare or life-threatening disorders including anal cancer. Anorectal disorders are painful but common conditions like hemorrhoids, tears, fistulas, or abscesses that affect the anal region. Most people experience some form of anorectal disorder during their lifetime.

Unlike liver disease, there are no gastrointestinal diseases specifically caused by pregnancy. However, pregnancy may complicate most gastrointestinal diseases, particularly Gastroesophageal reflux and inflammatory bowel disease. In addition, gastrointestinal symptoms are extremely common in the pregnant patient. The physician must be able to distinguish whether these symptoms are those of normal pregnancy or a potentially life-threatening complication such as preeclampsia.

Many recent developments in gastrointestinal surgery are of particular relevance to older people. They include new methods for the treatment or palliation of carcinoma, an increasing use of laparoscopic techniques (although the benefits of many of the approaches have yet to be proved in randomised controlled trials), and new treatments for non-malignant anal problems such as incontinence and prolapse. Meanwhile, the role of elective surgery in the field of peptic ulceration continues to decrease because of more effective medical treatments

Liver transplantation is the treatment of choice for patients with liver failure secondary to chronic hepatitis B. However, liver transplantation is complicated by the risk of recurrent hepatitis B virus infection, which significantly impairs graft and patient survival. Current approaches continue to be hampered by the extremely high cost of treatment and the emergence of drug-resistant viral mutations. Ongoing studies are necessary to establish the most cost-effective approaches to prevent recurrent hepatitis B virus infection after liver transplantation.

Obesity is one of the most important public health conditions worldwide. Bariatric surgery for severe obesity is an effective treatment that results in the improvement and remission of many obesity-related comorbidities, as well as providing sustained weight loss and improvement in quality of life. Contemporary bariatric operations include Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, adjustable gastric band and the duodenal switch. The vast majority of these procedures are now performed using laparoscopic technique, the main advantages of which include rapid recovery, the reduction of postoperative pain and the reduction of wound-related complications, compared with open surgery.

Therapy of paediatric functional gastrointestinal disorders is best done within the context of a multidisciplinary bio psychosocial approach. Pharmacotherapy is often sought by patients and families who hope to find a “pill” that will lead to rapid symptom relief. Yet, there is only scant published evidence for the efficacy of a variety of medical interventions in childhood functional abdominal pain and irritable bowel syndrome. This article reviews the Paediatric studies that have addressed Pharmacotherapy in children with pain predominant functional gastrointestinal disorders.

Gastrointestinal tract to the external stimulus or the failure to respond is an important aspect of the function of gastrointestinal tract system. Scientific progress in the area of gut immune system and the immune abnormalities includes the latest developments in organ transplantation of the liver and gut, HIV infection of the gut, and the recently discovered disease H. pylori gastritis. Gastrointestinal Immunology mainly focus on differentiation of gut-associated lymphoid tissue, regulation of innate and adaptive immune cell differentiation and function, genetic and epigenetic factors regulating immune responses and inflammation.

Neurogastroenterology encompasses the study of the brain, the gut, and their interactions with relevance to the understanding and management of gastrointestinal motility and functional gastrointestinal disorders. Specifically, neurogastroenterology focuses on the functions, malfunctions, and the malformations of the sympathetic, parasympathetic, and enteric divisions of the digestive tract. Neurogastroenterology includes the study associated with brain, the alimentary canal, and their interactions with significance to the comprehension and management of gastrointestinal motility and functional GI disorders.

Gastrointestinal disorders include such conditions as constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, hemorrhoids, anal fissures, perianal abscesses, anal fistulas, perianal infections, diverticular diseases, colitis, colon polyps and cancer. Many of these can be prevented or minimized by maintaining a healthy lifestyle, practicing good bowel habits, and submitting to cancer screening. Gastrointestinal diseases refer to diseases involving the gastrointestinal tract, namely the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine and rectum, and the accessory organs of digestion, the liver, gallbladder, and pancreas.

Paediatric gastroenterologist is a clinician who provides tertiary services for the diagnosis and long-term management of rare disorders and complex cases of more common disorders that affect the gastrointestinal tract. Gastroenterologists provide nutritional support for patients, including those with temporary or permanent intestinal failure, and manage services for home parenteral nutrition.

Gastrointestinal Carcinogenesis as a gathering is the second most basic tumors analyzed in the two men and ladies. Of all the GI growths, the colorectal disease is the most well-known one among recently analyzed GI tumors and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma is the most deadly one because of the absence of early determination and restricted achievement of fundamental therapeutics expanded research exercises towards the advancement of novel therapeutics. Momentous advance has been made in pathogenesis, science, and atomic hereditary qualities of Gastric surgery.

Pancreatic diseases can be difficult due to the inaccessibility of the pancreas. There are multiple methods to evaluate the pancreas. Initial tests of the pancreas include a physical examination, which is difficult since the pancreas is deep in the abdomen near the spine. Pancreatic cancer is the fourth most common cause of cancer death in men and the fifth in women.  Early pancreatic cancers often do not cause any signs or symptoms. By the time they do cause symptoms, they have often grown very large or already spread outside the pancreas.

Molecular biology has become an integral part of basic and clinical gastroenterology. A broad spectrum of infectious, inherited and malignant gastrointestinal diseases can now be studied by molecular methods, including polymerase chain reaction, hybridization and DNA sequence analyses.    Genetics have led to an increased understanding of the genetic determinants of gastrointestinal (GI) disorders. Molecular biology has become an essential part of basic and clinical gastroenterology

Diabetes mellitus, commonly known as diabetes, is a group of metabolic disorders characterized by high blood sugarlevels over a prolonged period. Symptoms of high blood sugar include frequent urination, increased thirst, and increased hunger. Acute complications can include diabetic ketoacidosis, hyperosmolar hyperglycemic state, or death. Bariatric surgical procedures cause weight loss by restricting the amount of food the stomach can hold, causing malabsorption of nutrients, or by a combination of both gastric restriction and malabsorption.
